Balance Medical was founded by Alison Spink, a PR and communications expert with over 18 years experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Alison has built a reputation as a media trainer in these fields, having trained a broad range of Key Opinion Leaders and company spokespeople, and worked across most disease areas on both a national and international platform.

These include COPD, influenza, smoking cessation, gastroenterology, stroke, hypertension, anti-ageing, HRT, obesity, schizophrenia, arthritis, diabetes, oncology, pain management and trauma.

Alison has also acted as a media spokesperson herself for the trade association AHPMA, representing Procter & Gamble and Kimberly Clark. The interviews ranged from BBC Radio 4's 'You & Yours' to 'The Big Breakfast' on Channel 4.
