And ask for Tim
Balance is run by Tim Glynne-Jones, a writer and editor, who began his journalism
career in 1985 and went on to work for a number of Britain's leading consumer
magazines, such as Smash Hits, More!, Auto Express and Top Gear. In 1996 he was
appointed editor of the BBC's new Match of the Day magazine, having edited
the Official FA Guide to Euro 96. Five years later he left BBC Worldwide and
joined the team of the newly launched Restaurant magazine, later becoming
managing editor. In 2007 he set up Balance and turned his attention to
customer publishing and books.
Tim has been involved in the launch of a number of groundbreaking projects,
including the online football community myfootballclub.co.uk, which raised over
£1million to buy Ebbsfleet United FC in 2007.
Through his work editing consumer, trade and customer magazines, Tim has built up
a valuable network of specialist writers, as well as designers, photographers, illustrators
and subeditors. When you speak to Balance, you speak to Tim. He will then put
together a team to produce exactly the sort of publication you want.
It's that simple. But not everyone could do it.
